Gone Fishing

While walking around the local esturay recently I had this Little Egret in the rain fishing for his supper. Forgive the quality as it was late in the evening and it was raining which didn`t help.

Greenshank

I was in Swords Co Dublin recently for a look around the estuary to see if anything was about. It was full of the usual suspects so I spent an hour sitting in the jeep waiting for the birds to get closer and they did. I took a few shots of a Greenshank that seemed a little weary at first before legging past me. Here are some of the shots I got.
